A Reader Weighs in with Evidence

TRASHING HISTORY

“The mourning becomes unbearable,” writes Piotr Denisovich, a professor of Near East Studies at the University of Michigan, to other scholars.

“At my desk I keep a photo of a woman’s head made of marble, whose empty eyes have stared back since I first took this post. This amazing mask has survived for more than 5,000 years. Now, approximately 170,000 objects—vases, figurines, stele, statues, cups, diadems, and clay tablets—have been savagely ripped from their shelves and have very likely disappeared forever. Who is going to replace them?”

Though there may not be a direct answer to Denisovich’s question, a current investigation directed by the Hague has called a few to account, among them billionaire Ivo Kashoggian, who has been accused of purchasing antiquities from looters.

Though Kashoggian could not be reached for comment, a spokesperson issued the following statement: “Nine-tenths of the world’s antiquities have been acquired through non-traditional means. Every collector from the Medicis to the British Museum has, at one time or another, whether deliberately or mistakenly, acquired an antiquity through illegal means.”

Kashoggian is only the highest-profile of those who have been placed under investigation by the Hague. The course of his trial will no doubt set a precedent for the manner in which those who have been connected to antiquities looting will be brought to justice.

San Francisco Chronicle, April 21, 2003

Thank you, papillonnoirs, for this illustration of what can happen to the world’s treasures when those in charge are spoiled brats with no reverence for history. No doubt the woman’s head mentioned would have languished on some pillar in Kashoggian’s obscene temple to his own greed. The people own these treasures! Try as they might, those in power can not take them away from us!

Who cares about this Black Rock? Once again, you're dodging the REAL issue.

Don’t try to hide your faulty science behind pseudo-history and specious political statements. Don’t ignore the R428 virus. While not proven beyond a doubt that R428 is responsible for Post Mortem Mobility Syndrome, the presence of the virus in 100% of the subjects tested strongly suggests the virus is the cause. The result of the virus is the enlarged hypothalamus and PMMS.

Are we back to this again? I was hoping to move forward from this type of circular discussion.

We can all agree on the enlarged hypothalamus. That much has been proven. But no one has been able to prove that the virus is the cause of PMMS. Until proof is forthcoming I refuse to adopt a position which is not only discriminatory, but possibly destructive, simply for the convenience of the Academic/Scientific cabal.

Rats infected with R428 show markedly different signs than their human counterparts, it’s true. But the studies are taking place on Pre-Decease rats, and because of the vagaries of R428, we are only able to study PMMS in Post-Decease humans. It’s irresponsible and potentially dangerous to discount R428 when people should be taking precautions to protect themselves.

But under accepted theory, R428 doesn’t affect a living host. So why would it be harmful to contract? What’s wrong with living as a zombie?

R428 MAY affect a living host. Rats infected with R428 have shown an increase in aggressive, antisocial, and risk-taking behaviors. Because we have not been able to isolate a living human infected with the R428 virus we don’t yet know if these symptoms are the same in both species. We DO know that in Post-Decease humans the symptoms of R428 include mobility, general pallor, cessation of circulation, and an excess of adrenalin.

I repeat, what is wrong with living as a zombie? I’m quite sure Rodrigo would agree, your suggestion that this “disease” needs to be eradicated is nothing short of a call for genocide.

you’re out of your mind.

PMMS is preventable and we need to make a concerted effort to pursue funding for a vaccination. My organization, Citizens for the Prevention and Cure of PMMS (CPCPMMS) is currently seeking sponsors to purchase air time to run the ad we’ve produced on the major networks. It’s currently only available on the web. By the way, we’ve found that with a combination of counseling and a vitamin regimen, those afflicted with PMMS can continue to lead worthwhile existences in their Post-Decease lives.

And then go on to infect others. The only solution for dealing with PMMS is to eradicate the virus in all forms.

Are you suggesting we eradicate those who suffer from the virus as well?

Anonymous said...

That would mean they would be dead again. Is this your suggestion?

My suggestion is to treat an unnatural state by eradicating the virus.
